Hurricane Harvey ripped across the Coastal Bend landscape and then moved towards Houston and Southeast Texas where it caused catastrophic and life threatening damage and flooding.
CHRISTUS Health serves the communities most affected by the storms and floods in south and southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Many CHRISTUS Associates and their families live and work within the communities sustaining the most damage and the needs are great.
CHRISTUS Associates are helping their most vulnerable brothers and sisters by donating from their paychecks and PTO time. (If you are a CHRISTUS Associate, please visit My CHRISTUS Life for updates and more information on how to help.)
We are blessed by the generous friends and ministry colleagues who are asking how they can support the needs of our Associates in this difficult time. To donate to the CHRISTUS Disaster Relief fund, please click here. Your donations are tax deductible, and all of the funds collected will go directly to help our most vulnerable CHRISTUS Associates who have been impacted.
CHRISTUS is also working with the following agencies in the continued effort to support recovery efforts including direct assistance, rebuilding and other critical services regardless of religion, social or economic background.
