Five years in the making: CHRISTUS Spohn opens new patient tower

It was a special night as CHRISTUS Spohn hosted a ribbon-cutting event for the new North Tower on the campus of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline. Community officials, CHRISTUS Health leaders, The Bishop and the Sisters from CHRISTUS Health’s sponsoring congregations were in attendance to celebrate this momentous occasion, five years in the making.

“As I stand looking at this gleaming new building, I see the impact of thousands of decisions by hundreds of people. I know what we see here today is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s more than the millions of dollars we invested in this building and in its state-of-the-art technology, explained Ernie Sadau, President and CEO of CHRISTUS Health. “It’s the heart of every person who supported this vision, who laid this foundation, who will provide care within these walls so to fulfill our mission so more people are embraced with God’s healing presence.”
